| What
is a special need animal? |
9/17/2007 Yoda has quite a story to her ten day old life. First, her brother, sister and she were taken from their mother at three days by young children and taken across town. They were taken back to their feral mother by the boys and the Animal Control officer. Luckily for the kittens, their mother returned to nurse them. Then, poor Yoda got caught between boards and her mother was not able to save her. She moved her brother and sister and left Yoda to die. A kind lady found Yoda and called Animal Control, who went to her house and picked up our young Jedi. Yoda has the fighting spirit. She is being fed every few hours and growing stronger. It is hard to say when Yoda will be available for adoption. She is in a fight for her very life. 9/30/07 Update: Yoda is developing very slow because of her motherless condition. She could use sponsor to help pay for her medical and nutrional needs. 10/12/07 Update: Yoda is finally starting to grow hair on her little tummy. She will be a small cat all of her life, because of her rough beginning of life! She is one special kitten. We will have her with us for longer than eight weeks. Yoda looks to be about three weeks old at this stage instead of her real age of five weeks.
