I was on the shelter web site and just wanted to let you know that she is a wonderful and very playful girl who loves her kids and canine buddies, Blue (A Blue Heeler) & Annie (A Redbone Coonhound). Thank you for her and we hope you all are doing well up in Cut Bank! I have attached a picture for you to see how pretty she is! Adrienne

Gracie is adjusting great to our home. She is getting used to sleeping in the kennel. She is a lover and doing great potty training. We all are completely in love with her. We are using the book Super Puppy how to raise the best dog you'll ever have. We find it really pays off.

Gracie goes to the veterinarian next week, when our other girls get their stitches out from being fixed. She will start her shots. Gracie and the other dogs are getting along really well. Everyone is playing and being very patient with the new baby. My Redbone, Millie is mothering her. She will be fixed as soon as she is six months.

Olivia, our six year old is the most in her face, loving her, but they are getting on really well. WE are discouraging her chewing on our hands and using toys and bones for her. S
he is actually doing really well on the chewing behavior. She is a chewer as she is a baby, but she is using bones and toys. We are feeding her Pro Choice from Sams Club. Gracie sleeps in a kennel in the living room. She is walking on the leash, busy chasing the other dogs and kids and of course there is her wrestling match with the cat. Gracie will be wearing her rabies tag and a name tag.

THANK YOU HUGELY! You guys are awesome. Our family would be willing to volunteer to help you with anything you need. Let us know. David and Kathleen

Dear Tina and Joe, Our yellow lab Gracie is doing great. She is a smart, funny girl who is a joy to our family. We were fortunate to have found a wonderful book called, SUPER PUPPY how to raise the best dog you'llever own. That book helped us immensely and we neverdid go through the crazy puppy stages. Anyway I will attempt to download Gracies photo for you. David and Kathleen

Our new kitty Moochie has been a blessing to our family, she has taught our other kitty, Sassy how to be a cat and how to be nice. I am so glad she came to live with us, and I think she is happy also. All our pets are spayed, up to date on shots and our kitties are declawed and indoor cats. Thank You for bringing her to us , Wanda and Curtis (Sassy, Moochie and Wally too)

Tika

Things here are good. Tika is fitting right in. We're trying to socialize her as she seems to be a little strange with kids and other dogs. She's great with the cats though. We got a bit of a scare when she growled at a sweet little girl and barred her teeth. So, we're being careful about how we introduce her to people. It may take her a bit of time to feel comfortable.

Things have been crazy here. Never a dull moment! Tika and Tutti have seemed to take to each other more than our brave male cat. We're surprised by that. But, Tutti has been sweet as pie and really very tolerant of having her space taken over. Cody is slowly adjusting.

Tika has been learning a few things. She's had no accidents in the house although she ripped up some papers and a few odds and ends... nothing major. She just doesn't like us to leave her when we go anywhere. The only issue we've had is trying to get her to stop pulling on the leash when we walk her. She is fine if there aren't other stimulants to distract her, but when there are kids and dogs and bunnies around, she loses her mind and will darn near take our arm off. We're looking into doggie school.

That's the quick update from here. Hope all is well with you guys...Cher

Hi Tina & Joe!

Tika is doing well. She still has a difficult time socializing with other dogs outside of the house. The strange thing is, she's great when we bring her to doggy daycare. But, when she's on a leash, she's a nightmare around other dogs. Or, if she's in the neighbourhood. We've taken her to specialized dog training for aggressive animals, and she's fine if the other animals are introduced in a certain way. But, any animal being walked by us is perceived as a threat and this is a continuing issue with her. Outside of that, she's wonderful. She's very sweet and affectionate and has taken direction well. She's adorable and we love her dearly. She also has become great friends with our two cats and they groom her when she puts her head by them. She is a wonderful member of our family. I think she realizes that she has a good home and is rather protective of it when animals she doesn't know are around. We have many many photos of Tika. I've attached one of them. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Regards,
Cher & Shawn (yes... we got married this year too!)

The evening we returned from Cut Bank, Montana. She traveled to our home just fine. As you know, we stopped at vet's and she is now current on all of her shots.

last Sunday after her hair cut at Petco. Missi was not a happy camper. I am not looking forward to the next time, maybe I will have to learn how to do it myself.

Any way to make a long story short, she is doing wonderful. Sits and stays when we tell her to. She is BOB'S DOG THO, he is thrilled. Thank you so much. Joyce and Bob

Maddie was so good up camping, she surprised us!!! She listened. She came when called and even when she seen a squirrel and was on the hunt, when I called her back she came! No leash, just a close watch of her. pretty good huh? She is getting better all the time. Shotzy didn't even mind her. Take care.
Margaret

Hi There,

Well, I hope you are keeping cool in this heat. It is supposed to be 103 today. I took Maddie to the groomers yesterday to get a new do. They said that she is most like, Yorkie/Scottie. So since Shotzy is all Scottie, I had him groomed Scottie, and Maddie groomed Yorkie. She is so cute. I am sending a picture along so you can see.

She is a good little girl. We have fun with her. She loves us and we love her. Take Care and Will Update You Again Sometime. Margaret

Here is a cute picture of Maddie I had to share with you, she likes to sit on the bathtub edge. Take care, Margaret

Hello and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Sounds like you two have been real busy, finding new homes for everyone. Her is a new picture for you of our Maddie girl. What a pistol she is!!! She is our 3:45 AM girl, as that is what time she wakes us every morning. Hope you like the pics of Maddie and her new brother, Scoutie, and will keep in touch. Margaret and Wayne

Saber

After Adoption

Hi! I just thought that I would update you on Saber. She is still an extremely wonderful girl! She is definitely not jumpy, like when we first got her. She quit barking at Ryan when she comes upstairs in the middle of the night. I think she is pretty content here. She is finally eating undoctored dry food. We feed her Nutro. It's as good and not quite as expensive as Science Diet. Here are some pictures of her. I'm trying to get some of her standing up, but if I'm outside, and she's standing, she's usually coming over to get some love. Thank you so much for giving her to us! Oh, yes, she has finally started playing. She wouldn't do that for quite awhile, but we just kept working on her. Now, Jimmy just loves going outside with her and running around in the yard. Thank you again! Kimberly

I thought I'd send a few new pictures of Saber. She's quite the character. We put Ryan, our daughter, in time out one day and I went to check on her. There was Saber sitting by the other bench acting like she was in trouble. It was pretty funny. She wouldn't even look at me. The family one is to show how perfect she fits in our family. The one of just her is going up on our wall in a frame, just under Sadie. They are our two big girls. Thank you so much for giving her to us! She is such a big loveable girl! I'm guessing the St. Bernard in her is what makes her so lovey, and pouty. Sadie is the exact same way. She's still very picky with what she eats, but we found a dog food that she actually likes. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Kimberly
